The K2012A Wiegand Interface is ued to connect an alternative technology reader (with a Wiegand-Sensor 26 Bit format output) to Readykey door controllers and administration systems.

The K2012A converts the data from the alternative reader (such as D8221 or D8222) into a format compatible to that of a Readykey reader signal output. The K2012A may be used with the K2000-AM and K2000-N door controllers and with the K6000-AM and K6000-R administration systems. A separate K2012A may be connected to each of the four reader channels on a door controller. The K2012A includes cable and enclosure tamper monitoring.
